Coronavirus cases surge in University of Michigan residence halls

The number of COVID-19 cases among students in University of Michigan residence halls has nearly doubled in the past week, according to notifications sent out by the university.

UM currently reports 64 cumulative cases of COVID-19 on its dashboard since students moved in at residence halls on Aug. 21. That number was last updated on Sept. 19.
