EBRD approves contractor to build waste processing plant in Lviv

(MENAFN – UkrinForm) The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has approved a consortium of companies, Waste Treatment Technologies Netherlands B.V. (the Netherlands) and Axis Industries, UAB (Lithuania), as the general contractor for the construction of a waste processing plant in Lviv.

On October 22, the Lviv-based municipal company Zelene Misto (Green City) received an official letter with the results of consideration of the report submitted to the bank, Lviv City Council’s press service reported.

New owner buys Harco plant in Moraine for $3.2M

A new owner recently purchased the Harco Manufacturing plant in Moraine for nearly $3.2 million, according to local property records.

The plant at 3535 Kettering Blvd. sold last week from Kettering Woodbine LLC to Moraine 3535 Kettering LLC, a foreign limited liability corporation. The building sold with near 18 acres.

The sale price was $3.16 million.

The building houses auto parts manufacturer Harco Manufacturing Group LLC. In 2015, Chinese manufacturer Sunsong Holdings Inc. acquired Harco, which had been founded in 1976. Harco makes automotive brake hose assemblies serving the original equipment manufacturing market from the 311,000-square-foot facility. At the time, Harco had about100 employees.

PSPCL engineers resent sale of Bathinda thermal plant land : The Tribune India

The PSEB Engineers’ Association critised the decision of the Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) to sell the Guru Nanak Dev Thermal Plant (GNDTP) land in Bathinda to the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

Jasvir Dhiman, president, PSEB Engineers’ Association, said here today, “The PSPCL management has transferred the GNDTP land valuing Rs 4,000 crore to the Housing Department, and is now planning to sell it at Re 1 to private players for 99 years.”

Dhiman said, “In the name of a proposed pharmaceutical park at the thermal land, it is an attempt to fill the coffers of a few private players. The administration has broken the trust of farmers, who vacated their land for the thermal plant years ago. The people of Punjab have been coerced to pay high electricity charges.”
