Workshop Description:
Are you an aspiring model, actor or parent of a talent, who
wants to break into the business, but don’t know where to start?
Are you a parent of a talent, but don’t know who to trust?
What should you be investing in to help your career?


If these are some of your questions, then please join us for this “FREE”
industry workshop for aspiring talent, models and parents. Greg will
not only share his story, but answer many of the industry myths and traps that parents and talent commonly fall for when trying to break into the business. At the end, Gregory will host a Q&A sessions with parents and talent alike. Gregory wrote the self titled guide “Talent 101: Getting Started” for the Palm Beach Film Office, which can be found on their website at www.PBFilm.com.

Gregory’s Bio:
Gregory James Blount is the Executive Producer for Sound Tree Entertainment and the Publisher of Peter Glenn Publications, a 54 year-old entertainment publishing company. Greg has produced projects for such companies as CosmoGIRL, ELLEgirl, Rampage, Miss Sixty, MasterCard, Kodak and Universal Studios. Gregory is currently producing concerts for the Disney Channel star Mitchel Musso, who stars as "Oliver" on Hannah Montana and soon will begin filming his new Disney show "Pair of Kings."

Greg has also discovered and managed some of today's rising stars including actress Amber Heard (Pineapple Express, The Stepfather, Never Back Down), who just finished filming "The Rum Diary" opposite Johnny Depp. Other talent he has discovered is model Shelby Keeton (Abercrombie, American Eagle,
Hollister and Urban Outfitters). Tween Models Angelica Rodriguez and Jacqueline Lefever have appeared in national campaigns for Justice.

Gregory produces the performing arts Talent Camp at Universal Studios and also Camp Hollywood (a 7-day acting program with many Disney stars and casting directors) in Los Angeles. Greg is currently producing a program with the support of the Palm Beach Film Office called TalentFest365, a “Talent Job Fair” which connects local talent to the Top 20 Florida model & talent agencies and casting directors. TalentFest365 (www.TalentFest365.com) will be held April 17-18th at the Embassy Suites in Boca Raton.

In addition to his publishing and production schedule, Greg is a cleared business partner with the Palm Beach County School District, where he frequently speaks at schools and addresses the issues and challenges that kids and teens face today. He often shares his diverse industry expertise and personal experiences to help provide words of encouragement.
