Coca-Cola emerges from lockdown blues as out-of-home demand recovers

(Reuters) – Coca-Cola Co KO.N beat revenue and profit expectations on Thursday as a partial reopening of theaters and restaurants boosted demand and helped the world’s largest soda maker bounce back from a shattering second quarter.

Declines in “away-from-home” sales eased to mid-teens range in the third quarter from about a 50% slump in April at the height of lockdowns, while demand for its trademark Coca-Cola and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar also rose.

Coca-Cola makes about half of its revenue by selling its soft drinks at public venues and their closure had forced it to offer voluntary job cuts to about 4,000 workers in the United States.

Chief Executive James Quincey said the situation is “dynamic”, as rising cases during the winter could result in regional lockdowns, adding the recovery in “away-from-home” sales had showed signs of getting stalled in September.

“We don’t expect to return to the peak levels of

The sole property that hasn’t been redeveloped in Palm Beach’s Phipps Estate neighborhood has sold for a recorded $9.4 million.

With a cottage dating to the 1920s, the property at 205 Via Tortuga changed hands for its land value, according to the deed recorded Friday.

The buyer will develop on speculation a French country-style house already designed and approved by the town for the site, according to the real estate agent who handled the sale.

The buyer’s identity was not immediately revealed in the information about the sale posted on the Palm Beach County Clerk’s website. Agent Jim McCann of Premier Estate Properties, who handled both sides of the transaction, declined Sunday to identify the buyer.

Trump Had One Last Story to Sell. The Wall Street Journal Wouldn’t Buy It.

His comment was not appreciated inside The Journal.

“The editors didn’t like Trump’s insinuation that we were being teed up to do this hit job,” a Journal reporter who wasn’t directly involved in the story told me. But the reporters continued to work on the draft as the Thursday debate approached, indifferent to the White House’s frantic timeline.

Keep up with Election 2020

Finally, Mr. Bobulinski got tired of waiting.

“He got spooked about whether they were going to do it or not,” Mr. Bannon said.

At 7:35 Wednesday evening, Mr. Bobulinski emailed an on-the-record, 684-word statement making his case to a range of news outlets. Breitbart News published it in full. He appeared the next day in Nashville to attend the debate as Mr. Trump’s surprise guest, and less than two hours before the debate was to begin, he read a six-minute statement to the press, detailing his allegations

Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap tweets house is for sale amid trade reports

Carlos Dunlap appears ready to leave Cincinnati.

The disgruntled defensive end again took to social media to voice his frustrations immediately following the Bengals’ 37-34 loss to the Browns on Sunday.

One day after posting his team’s depth chart on Instagram, which showed Dunlap relegated to being a reserve, the two-time Pro Bowler announced on Twitter his house is for sale.

“6000 sqft city view with huge balcony. 4 bedroom. 4.5 bathroom. In one of the best school districts for sale. Do your market analysis and make me offer. Serious inquiries only with proof of funds! Owner is willing to sell furnished or unfurnished!” the post read.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Sunday morning that Cincy has had active trade talks involving Dunlap. His exit seems inevitable and perhaps best for both parties. The veteran lineman registered nine sacks last season but has just one and two tackles

Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Carlos Dunlap is fed up. That was the case before today’s game, and it is clearly still the case after it.

Dunlap has already asked the Bengals to trade him after they reduced his role. The other day, he posted the team’s defensive end rotations on Instagram, saying he “doesn’t have time” for the situation he’s been placed in.

Well, this afternoon, Dunlap upped the ante. Following a 37-34 loss to the Cleveland Browns in which he recorded only one QB hit and no other stats, Dunlap listed his home for sale on Twitter.

“~6000 sqft city view with huge balcony. 4 bedroom. 4.5 bathroom. In one of the best school districts for sale. Do your market analysis and make me offer,” he wrote. “Serious inquiries only with proof of funds! Owner is willing to

Homebuyer seeks advice on providing power of attorney while abroad

Q: I recently signed a contract for the purchase of a home. I am traveling abroad soon and have given a financial power of attorney to a family member. I also gave them a durable power of attorney. Now I hear the title company in our purchase of the home may need a specific power of attorney for our purchase. Is it possible to provide a power of attorney electronically and have the document notarized electronically?

A: So much has changed during the COVID-19 pandemic with respect to how real estate is bought and sold. Due to COVID-19, many real estate industry practices have changed. One change in particular has to do with remote online notarization. But first, we need to talk a bit about your power of attorney documents.

You were wise to try to set up a power

Carlos Dunlap Tried To Sell His Condo On Twitter After Loss To Browns

The Bengals defense played very well for one quarter against the Cleveland Browns, holding them to 0 points, picking off Baker Mayfield once, and making him go 0-for-5 on passes. From there, however, they did not stop the Browns again as Cleveland scored 37 points, Mayfield threw five touchdowns on 22-for-23 passing, and, despite Joe Burrow’s best efforts in throwing for over 400 yards, the Bengals lost 37-34.

Veteran defensive end Carlos Dunlap has been pretty vocal with his displeasure of both his role in the Bengals defense and just generally being on the squad that continues to lose even as the offense shows some promise under Burrow. Prior to the Browns game, Dunlap posted a picture of the Bengals defensive line depth chart and called out the coaching staff on Instagram, as he looks for a way out of town.

During the game, after the Browns game-winning touchdown, Dunlap
