Global electric water heater market was valued approximately USD 15.08 billion in 2016 and is anticipated to grow with 5.9% compound annual growth rate over the forecast period. Electric water heaters are largely installed for household applications such as cooking, washing, bathing, laundry and washing purposes. All the residential applications accounted more than 85% of the total market share in 2016. In a broader scenario, residential sector has been matured in terms of demand & installations, however, commercial places such as hospitals, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, and public places are likely to spur huge demand over the coming years. This increase in demand from commercial sector is attributed to the factors such as real estate development, development of tankless water heaters, increasing disposable income, and change in preference towards the superior quality

Hum by Colgate Electric Toothbrush Sale 2020 | The Strategist

Photo-Illustration: Retailer

If you haven’t already noticed, we’re big fans of electric toothbrushes here at the Strategist — and with good reason. Dentists say they far outperform manual toothbrushes when it comes to reducing plaque and gingivitis, and several of our writers rely on them for getting that squeaky-clean, fresh-from-the-dentist feeling. New to the electric toothbrush scene this year, the Colgate Hum brush features three cleaning modes and Bluetooth connectivity so you can follow along with your brushing in real time on the Hum app. Proper brushing earns you reward points in the app which you can redeem for actual items, like replacement brush heads. Typically, an electric toothbrush with all the bells and whistles will set you back at least $100, but the Hum brush, along with a travel case and extra brush head, costs only $85. And for today only, it’s even cheaper: another 30 percent off at

Electric vehicles for sale at reduced prices in Fort Collins during group buy event

Fort Collins is again working with Northern Colorado Clean Cities and other partners on an electric vehicle group buy, giving Coloradans the opportunity to save thousands of dollars on a range of electric vehicles purchased through November.

Electric vehicles: Are they right for you?

The pre-negotiated group buy includes discounts on several models, including up to $12,000 off a 2020 Chevy Bolt, $22,000 off a 2020 Nissan LEAF, $12,000 off a 2020 Kia Niro and $9,500 off a 2020 BMW X3 30E. The discounts are in addition to federal tax credits available for EVs.

Last year’s group buy coordinated the sale of 60 EVs, according to Northern Colorado Clean Cities.

The program, returning to the area for the fifth time, is part of a city effort to encourage residents to switch to electric vehicles. Fort Collins is hoping to boost adoption of electric vehicles in

Fire concern prompts stop-sale, US recall for 2019-2020 Hyundai Kona Electric

Hyundai has issued a recall affecting more than 11,000 Kona Electric vehicles in the U.S. and Canada from the 2019 and 2020 model years, due to an issue that could cause the battery to short-circuit and potentially start a fire.

With the issuance of the recall notice, submitted on October 13 and posted by the federal government Saturday, Hyundai Motor America confirmed to Green Car Reports that it has also asked dealerships to stop the sale of the 2019 and 2020 Kona Electric in the U.S. and Canada—an estimated 1,000 vehicles in the U.S. and 10 in Canada—until the recall remedy is completed.

That includes any Hyundai certified pre-owned Kona Electrics, but it does not include the new 2021 Kona Electric models that will soon start arriving at dealerships and be available for sale.

Including vehicles already delivered, the recall affects the entire population of U.S. Kona Electric models—6,707 vehicles—made

Electric Cars, Homes and Shops: NJ’s Clean Energy Future? | Business News

By WAYNE PARRY, Associated Press

ATLANTIC CITY,N.J. (AP) — Gasoline-powered vehicles would become a thing of the past, and nine out of every 10 buildings in New Jersey would be heated and cooled by electricity instead of natural gas or oil, under an ambitious plan laid out Thursday by the state’s environmental regulators.

It is an effort so far-reaching and transformative of the way everyday life is lived in the state that its cost is sure to be great — so great that authorities did not even try to estimate it.

Officials with the state Department of Environmental Protection released a report Thursday outlining the state’s progress in meeting goals to reduce the emission of planet-warming greenhouse gases.

Shawn LaTourette, the DEP’s deputy commissioner and chief of staff, predicted the plan would be attacked from the left and the right.

“You’ll hear about cost: ‘Too fast, too soon, too much,

Rimac Concept_One electric supercar for sale at U.S. dealership

As Croatian automaker Rimac Automobili prepares to launch its C_Two electric supercar, an example of that car’s predecessor is up for sale in the U.S. First spotted by Autoblog, New York City dealership Manhattan Motorcars is currently advertising a new Rimac Concept_One on its website with an asking price of $1.6 million.

Unveiled in 2011, the Concept_One boasts 1,224 horsepower and 1,180 pound-feet of torque, according to Rimac. The company quotes 0-62 mph in 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 220 mph, plus a 210-mile range (likely as measured on the more lenient European WLTP testing cycle) when driven more sedately.

The asking price is a bit steeper than the originally-quoted $980,000 base price, but this is a rare car. Rimac originally planned to build 88 cars, but only eight were completed, according to Autoblog. Only seven survive, as one car was destroyed in a crash during
