An Entire Collection of Rad Eighties Supercars Is Up for Sale in Miami

From Road & Track

Someone in the late Eighties and early Nineties put together a collection of five cars seemingly designed to make Radwood nerds in 2020 drool. A Lamborghini Countach, Jalpa, and an LM002, plus a Mercedes-Benz SEC 6.0 AMG, and a Lotus Esprit X180R. All are in pristine condition, and are now up for sale at Miami classic supercar dealer Curated. This would make a great five-car garage for a Miami Vice villain.

The Countach is a 1989 25th Anniversary model with just 2600 miles on the clock, finished in Nero Tenebere with a cream leather interior. While purists don’t like all the extra styling elements fit to the 25th Anniversary, these are the best-sorted Countach examples, and we think the bodykit is charmingly of its time. Curated believes the Jalpa is the last North American-market car, built in 1988 and looking great with its

An entire island in the middle of a Norwegian fjord is for sale…

From House Beautiful

The picturesque private Norwegian island of Ulvsnes is for sale for a cool £2.4 million.

Situated in the middle of a Norwegian fjord, this idyllic slice of paradise is surrounded by breathtaking mountainside, crystal clear water, beautiful hiking trails and plenty of wildlife. Just a short boat ride from the mainland in Vaksdal, it is an extraordinary opportunity to acquire a completely private retreat.

There’s plenty for new owners to enjoy, as the island comes with 23 acres of forest, 30 buildings, a barn, playground, football pitch, 20,000-square-foot main house, and several greenhouses, too.

Over the years, updates have included outdoor sewage pipes, electric inlet cables, fire alarms, insulation and new wooden panels on the buildings. But that’s not all: the island has also been adapted for eco-farm operations and is home to horses, sheep, alpacas, pigs and poultry.

An entire island in the middle of a Norwegian fjord

We’ve all dreamed of having our own personal slice of far-flung island paradise. This year especially, effing off to somewhere totally cut off from the outside world has felt very tempting indeed.

Well, if you’re feeling particularly spontaneous right now, here’s your chance. A huge island in the middle of Norway’s Sørfjorden (south fjord) has just gone on the market – and it’s incredibly beautiful. It comes complete with 23 acres of forest and meadowland, along with 30 buildings including a 20,000-square-foot main house, five more ‘dwellings’, a barn, boathouse, playground, football pitch and several bathing areas.

For more than a century, the island of Ulvsnesøy – also known as Ulvsnes – was once home to a school for ‘misbehaving boys’, which earned it the nickname ‘Devil’s Island’.

After the school closed in 1982, the island hosted as a low-security prison, which closed only last year. It has
