Industrial Production Picks Up in October: 5 Top Gainers

Per the latest release by the Federal Reserve, industrial production gained 1.1% in October after a revised fall of 0.4% in September. This comes as welcome news for the economy, which is grappling with rising COVID-19 cases despite the silver lining of positive vaccine trials.

Within major market groups, the Fed noted that the output of consumer goods advanced in October following September’s decline.

The upscale, 18-hole public course opened in 2002 and the original owners, Devens Golf Course Limited Partnership, have decided to move on.

“I think it’s just time,” general manager Chris Kasheta said. “They’ve been at it for 20-something years, and none of them are young men.”

Kasheta said he has seen a couple of potential buyers drop by to ask questions the last few weeks, but the club has not been sold yet.

Red Tail has no members, but those who play there regularly have told Kasheta they hope that whoever buys the property will keep it as a golf course. Actually, that has to be the case.

Red Tail has 42 years remaining on a ground lease with MassDevelopment, a quasi-public state agency, so the property must remain a golf course and primarily a daily-fee
