Todt Hill St. Charles Seminary property on market for $7.25M

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — The Todt Hill-based St. Charles Seminary property — which a builder was planning to transform into housing for people age 55 or older — is up for sale for $7.25 million, the Advance/ has learned.

The Advance/ reported the property had again been put up for sale last year for an undisclosed amount of money after Huguenot-based developer Tom Costa’s plan to build homes on the property was shot down by the the Todt Hill community.

With that plan now scrapped, a Manhattan-based real estate agency is marketing the nearly eight acres of Todt Hill property — owned by The Pious Society of the Missionaries of St. Charles Boromeo — to be used “as is,” rather than redeveloped with homes.
