SNOHOMISH, Wash. — From the outside, this building looks like a piece of Snohomish’s past. But as they say, looks can be deceiving.
“That’s our biggest compliment is when people go by and say look at the great old building. They don’t know it was built in 2008.” Said Marie Ferguson.
Marie and her husband Bruce Ferguson have called the Snohomish North depot their home ever since they finished building it 12 years ago.
“Took a year and a half. And the challenge was to make it period correct. We wanted it to look old and I think we succeeded,” said Bruce.
Now the Ferguson’s are jumping the tracks and selling their beloved depot to be closer to their grandkids.
“It sits on a half-acre. We have 177 feet on the Centennial Trail. Two stories about 2,400 square feet,” said Bruce. “All the bedrooms are upstairs. 2 bedrooms and of
